The story is about a person, who has a single path leading to his home. It is complicated system of bridges and pathways that crosses marshes and bogs, and it is the only connection to the outer world.
Someday in the autumn storm the system built on posts and pickets collapsed. The reconstruction lasted the whole next summer and only one year later it was fixed and ready for walking. When everything was done, master sat in front of his house, had tea, watched migratory birds flying away awaiting when finally somebody will come and visit him.
In the background of the installation one can hear migratory birds flying over Latvia in the fall of 2008.

3. "The Bridge of Never Meeting"

Proposal for site-specific installation. Two structures that resemble nose of the ship or part of the bridge almost meet in the middle of Earths depression.
Installation would be constructed out of reinforced concrete. I imagine that during the time a depression may partly fill with water.
